Catholic Regional College are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Human Resources & Compliance Manager to commence in January 2026.

<p>Due to continued growth and evolving operational needs, we are seeking a highly skilled and committed Human Resources & Compliance Manager to join our Staff & Operations team. This is a full-time, ongoing position working closely with the<br>
Principal, Business Manager, and Vice Principal Staff & Operations to support the effective management of HR, compliance, and governance processes across the College.<br>

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The Human Resources & Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing HR operations, employment compliance, staff onboarding, workforce planning processes, and the implementation of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) governance and policy requirements. The successful applicant will ensure accurate HR recordkeeping, support leaders with staff performance and wellbeing processes, and manage critical compliance systems including BambooHR and CompliSpace.<br>

<p>This is a key leadership-support position requiring exceptional professionalism, organisational skill, discretion, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of staff and stakeholders<br>
</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, induction, and exit processes.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and compliance registers using BambooHR and CompliSpace. </li>
<li>Support staff performance and development processes, including ARM documentation and compliance training cycles.</li>
<li>Interpret and apply the relevant awards/enterprise agreements in daily HR operations.</li>
<li>Implement and contextualise MACS policies, including Child Safety, governance, and employment frameworks.</li>
<li>Monitor and report on staff compliance obligations (VIT, WWCC, First Aid, mandatory training).</li>
<li>Assist leaders with employee relations matters, workforce planning, and staff wellbeing initiatives.</li>
<li>Support the College’s commitment to Child Safety and to cultivating a positive, professional workplace culture.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Compliance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience in HR or compliance roles within education or another regulated sector.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of employment law, IR frameworks, and CEMEA (or equivalent).</li>
<li>Experience using HR and compliance systems.</li>
<li>High-level communication, organisational, and administrative skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism.</li>
