The Sir David Martin Foundation Library caters to the wide ranging needs of a Kindergarten - Year 12 school. Broad experience across K – 12 within a school library environment is required. You will play an essential role in leading the Library team to promote the many opportunities that are available to ensure that it is conducive to learning and is a welcoming environment for all students.

All CCGS staff participate in annual training in child protection.  All statutory checks and references are required prior to confirmation of employment.</i></p><p>This is a full time / permanent position to commence in Term 1 2025.</p><p>To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:</p><ul><li>Appropriate teaching and librarianship qualifications and accreditation in NSW </li><li>Relevant previous leadership experience</li><li>Have or be eligible for membership of ALIA</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW Curriculum and its recent developments</li><li>Supporting teachers in exceptional learning design</li><li>Leading policy for and innovative practice with artificial intelligence in learning</li><li>Evidence of high level student outcomes up to and including the HSC</li><li>A high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation as a Teacher Librarian</li><li>Working knowledge of the Oliver Library System, Ebsco and Gale information databases</li><li>Commitment and high level skills in digital literacy and research </li><li>Experience working in a K-12 Library </li><li>Ability to be a collaborative team player driven to achieve the best outcomes for the school community</li><li>The capacity to cater for different learning needs</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Good administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability</li><li>A commitment to the strategic direction and ethos of the school </li></ul><p>Interested applicants should familiarise themselves with the School’s Strategic Plan ‘<i>Striving for Excellence</i>’, available on our website at <a href="http://www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au</a>.
