<p>Loreto Normanhurst is a leading Catholic, independent day and boarding school for girls in Years 5-12. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enriching the religious and spiritual development of our school community. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to promote dialogue, understanding, and engagement across religious and cultural boundaries.</p><p>This role is permanent full time commencing in Term 1 2025. </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects diverse religious traditions and promotes interfaith dialogue.</li><li>Develop and implement programs that enhance spiritual growth and ethical development among students, faculty, and staff.</li><li>Establish positive relationships through team building and foster a positive learning environment amongst staff members. </li><li>Ability to support classroom teachers in the department in their professional development through modelling best practice and encouraging collaboration. </li><li>Create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices.</li><li>Participate in the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model, which may mean being part of an Integrated Learning Team.</li><li>Show a commitment to academic pastoral care and supporting student well-being.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Hold relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.</li><li>Possess strong leadership, mentoring, team building and influencing skills.</li><li>Have a positive outlook, exceptional people skills and high emotional intelligence with demonstrated ability to build authentic, collaborative, and productive relationships.</li><li>Display commitment, professionalism, integrity, knowledge, and expertise.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of the syllabus requirements and ability to meet the aims, objectives, and outcomes of the curriculum.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to the values of a Catholic school in the tradition of Mary Ward, supporting and contributing to the development of the School’s values and culture.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work at Loreto Normanhurst</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent opportunity to join a leading school in girls’ education.</li><li>Access to professional growth and staff development learning experiences. </li><li>Attractive salary packaging with leadership allowance. </li><li>Work amidst the extensive and beautiful school grounds.</li><li>Onsite parking, café and Staff Morning Tea every Wednesday. </li></ul><p><i>Applicants must submit a cover letter addressed to Ms Ugonotti, the Principal, a CV and copies of relevant certifications.
