The School is founded in the Anglican tradition, based upon established Christian values. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>The Redlands Winter School program is a unique 10 week residential program which involves a combination of academics, snowsports and community living. Based in Jindabyne at our High Country Campus for Term 3, this program is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team in a unique co-ed environment. </p><p>We are looking for a range of specialist teachers in English, Maths, Science, PDHPE, HSIE, Music and / or general classrooms teachers to assist with the delivery of the academic program for Winter School. </p><p>This position provides an exciting opportunity to support the academic, pastoral care and wellbeing in the residential program at Redlands Winter School. The incumbent will be an active participant in creating and supporting the exceptional culture and standards of Redlands. </p><p>In addition to overseeing academic development of Winter School students in their care, this position will promote and contribute to the students&#39; safety, health, wellbeing, personal development, and the effective operation of the campus. </p><p>This position will actively support the development and day-to-day functioning of their assigned academic faculty, and in the process create successful academic outcomes for students. </p><p>Due to the residential nature of the Winter School program, staff are rostered 5 days on 2 days off and this position will involve weekend work. </p><p>Given the nature of the position, Redlands will provide the successful applicants with </p><p>- Single accommodation (on or off-site as required) </p><p>- Thredbo Season Pass </p><p>-Thredbo locker </p><p>- All on-site meals </p><p>- Professional Development (First Aid refresher and /or LR licence) </p><p><b>About you </b></p><p>This role would be suitable for those who enjoy working in a team environment and have an interest in skiing, snowboarding (or learning to ski or snowboard) and experiential education. You must be registered to teach in NSW and hold a valid NSW Working with Children check.
