<p>Marian Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music teacher to join our dedicated team in a temporary 0.4FTE job share position until the end of 2026 (with the potential for the position to continue into 2027).</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li>Structure lessons to meet the physical, social, and intellectual development of students.</li>
<li>Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.</li>
<li>Adhere to the assessment schedule and maintain records of student achievement.</li>
<li>Provide extensive pedagogical knowledge and enhance the learning and teaching of the subject matter.</li>
<li>Work creatively and constructively within various school communities.</li>
<li>Set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students.</li>
</ul>

<li>Qualifications and ability to teach Music in a secondary school in accordance with NESA requirements.</li>
<li>Strong communication and organisational skills, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.</li>

<li>Skill in creating effective assessment techniques and differentiating learning activities.</li>
<li>Willingness to be an active part of the Marian Community.</li>

<li>Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.</li>
<li>Eligibility to teach according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li>
