<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>As the People, Development and Engagement Senior Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance across all areas of human resources including workplace relations, recruitment, wellbeing, and work health and safety. Reporting to the Director of People, Development and Engagement, you’ll play a key role in shaping our culture and driving people-centric initiatives that align with CEDWW’s mission and values. </p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide expert HR advice to leaders on complex workplace and employee relations matters.</li>
<li>Oversee case management, investigations, and industrial negotiations, including enterprise bargaining.</li>
<li>Coach and develop leaders to build confi dence and capability in managing people effectively.</li>
<li>Enhance the Work Health & Safety and employee wellbeing portfolios.</li>
<li>Drive initiatives that support talent identification, succession planning, and provide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding industrial and legislative matters and structural reforms including job classification, role reviews, evaluations and analysis.</li>
<li>Oversee complex industrial relations matters that require a high level of sensitivity and effective communication.</li>
<li>Work in partnership with leaders, at all levels: to coach, mentor and develop their skills in managing workplace relations issues and employee performance.</li>
<li>Keep accurate case management file notes, evidence and decisions.</li>
<li>Responsible for end to end employee lifecycle including but not limited to; talent identification policy & strategy, succession planning and wellbeing initiatives and reporting across the CEDWW</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial frameworks.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in managing complex employee relations.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, values-driven approach.</li>
<li>Willing to complete an Accreditation for Support Staff (Category A, <a href="https://cedww.app.lumapps.com/intranet/evangelisation-religious-education/work-teach-lead" rel="nofollow"><u>Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools</u></a>, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga).</li>
<li>Current Driver’s Licence.</li>
<li>Current NSW Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>Successful candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check.</li>
