Reporting to the Principal through the Head of Teaching and Learning, the Head of Department - HPE is responsible for leading curriculum development, teaching excellence, assessment practices, and staff performance across the HPE Department. You will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation, maintaining high academic standards, and creating engaging learning experiences.

<p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading and developing the strategic direction of the HPE curriculum across Years 7-12.</li> <li>Supporting and mentoring HPE teachers to achieve excellence in classroom practice.</li> <li>Driving curriculum innovation, assessment moderation, and data-informed improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Building a positive, collaborative and high-performing departmental culture.</li> <li>Managing departmental resources, budgets and operational requirements.</li> <li>Partnering with students, families and colleagues to promote student growth, wellbeing and achievement.</li> </ul> <p><i><strong>About You</strong></i></p> <p>You are an accomplished educator and leader who is passionate about quality teaching and student outcomes.
