We are seeking an outstanding candidate for the role of Head of Science to commence in Term 1, 2027.

<p>We are seeking an outstanding candidate for the key role of Head of Science to commence in Term 1, 2027.</p>
<p>As Head of Department, you will bring a clear and inspiring vision for the teaching and learning of Science. You will model professionalism, positivity, and a vigorous and engaged commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work. Through your dynamic leadership, you will cultivate curiosity and critical thinking, highlighting the vital role of Science in understanding and shaping our world. As an energetic and collaborative leader experienced in quality assessment design, you will drive the development and delivery of Science programs that are broad, rigorous, and engaging, raising the quality of teaching, enhancing student outcomes across the School, and driving students’ high achievement. Through your professional networking and creative thinking, you will offer students rich and exciting experiences of real-world Science and academic research, highlighting pathways towards Science in higher education and industry.</p>
<p>This is a three-year tenure leadership position with an ongoing substantive teaching position at IGS. At the conclusion of the three-year term, the leadership appointment may be renewed, subject to the School's leadership appointment and review process. </p>
