<p><strong>PARED Victoria</strong> established <strong>Harkaway Hills College</strong> in 2016 and <strong>Lysterfield Lake College</strong> in 2022<strong>. Lysterfield Lake College</strong> is an independent Catholic school for boys located in Narre Warren North. <p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p><strong>Lysterfield Lake College</strong> is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Teachers to apply for a position of responsibility – Head of House - Pastoral to join our growing secondary team. </p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Formation and Students/ Headmaster, you will deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their personal best. The Head of House provides pastoral leadership for students within their House, supporting their wellbeing, character and faith formation, and sense of belonging. Working closely with the Head of Formation and Students, students, families, mentors, and staff, the Head of House helps foster a positive House culture where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to grow in virtue, service, and leadership. </p>
<p>The successful candidate will be organised and hard-working and will have excellent interpersonal skills. They must also have a comprehensive knowledge and desire to improve in their area of responsibility. </p>
<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within the House, fostering a culture where every student feels known, valued, safe, and supported.</li>
<li>Build a positive House culture by developing student leadership, promoting character formation, and leading House meetings, activities, and community initiatives.</li>
<li>Partner with students, families, and staff to support student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, and personal growth through restorative and proactive practices.</li>
<li>Coordinate House events, camps, retreats, and service opportunities that strengthen student engagement, faith, resilience, and a sense of belonging.</li>
<li>Contribute to the College's vision by modelling Christian values, promoting high expectations, and nurturing students to become responsible, compassionate, and confident young people.</li>
</ul>
