The successful candidate will value&nbsp;a strong approach to student well-being and a commitment to nurturing positive relationships. Along with the ability to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments.</p> <p>Demonstrated competence with technology and ICT to enhance the educational program is strongly desirable and International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) experience in a similar setting would be well regarded.</p> <p>As a member of our professional and collaborative teaching team, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Design and deliver effective learning experiences using contemporary teaching practices.</li> <li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum, including content, concepts and skill development.</li> <li>Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.</li> <li>Foster students’ intellectual, spiritual, cultural, physical and social growth through purposeful learning experiences.</li> <li>Develop and utilise a range of resources, including digital technologies, to enrich learning.</li> <li>Assess and monitor student progress and implement appropriate teaching strategies.</li> <li>Create safe, positive and inclusive classroom environments where students feel valued and supported.</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues and key staff to provide the best possible educational outcomes for students.</li> </ul> <p>You will be required to engage students in learning that nurtures their self-esteem, encourages self-reflection and develops compassion, respect and tolerance as a foundation on which they will build their lives in an environment that values education.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.</li> <li>Current VIT registration (or eligibility for registration).</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Details</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full-time and part-time opportunities available.</li> <li>Commencing January 2027.</li> <li>Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Geelong Lutheran College</strong></p> <p>Geelong Lutheran College is a unique workplace.
