<p>The College invites suitable applications for the position of Head of Faculty - FAME<br>
This position is a leadership role, the Head of Faculty plays a pivotal role in monitoring and maintaining current assessment practices and ensuring that high academic standards are inherent in every subject within their area of responsibility.</p>
<p>Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong Christian values and to have held significant leadership positions. The Head of Faculty will be an innovative educator, who collaborates well with others and enjoys being part of a dynamic and progressive team of educational leaders.</p>
<p><strong>Classification:</strong> Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2018 and the National Employment Standards.</p>
<p>Lakeside College is a Prep to 12 co-educational Christian school in the Lutheran tradition. Situated in Pakenham, a picturesque suburb and easy drive to the south-east of the Melbourne CBD, the College campus boasts excellent facilities in pleasant surrounds. <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<p>The applicant for the position is required to provide evidence of skills and experience that demonstrates;</p>
<ul>
<li>An active Christian faith and willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia</li>
<li>Evidence of capacity to contribute to, and uphold, the positive Lakeside College staff culture</li>
<li>An up-to-date knowledge of state and national curriculum along with comprehensive knowledge of specific subject content for Years 7-12</li>
<li>Capacity to reflect critically upon their professional practice</li>
<li>Highly developed ability to establish and develop positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, parents and members of the wider community</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the College team</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to uphold a Childsafe culture</li>
