We are seeking applications from suitably experienced administrators, ideally with a compliance or regulatory background for a diverse administrative position. Part Time 0.8 FTE position with possibility for Full Time.

<p><strong>Administration Officer / Receptionist&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Part time 0.8 FTE position with potential for Full Time</strong></p> <p>St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school located in Devonport catering for students from Years 7 to 12.&nbsp; The College is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters excellence, compassion and service in our students.&nbsp;</p> <p>Reporting to the Business &amp; Operations Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively undertaking a range of administrative tasks to support the effective running of the College's reception as well as supporting different areas of the business including but not limited to covering the role of Executive Assistant to the Principal, assistance with student enrolment processes and student data.</p> <p><strong>As an Administration Officer/ Receptionist, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the reception team to provide friendly and welcoming customer service support to staff, parents, students and visitors</li> <li>Provide administrative support across the College in the way of routine correspondence, general word processing, processing financial transactions</li> <li>Assist the receptionist to maintain absentee records and notify parents as per school policy and procedures</li> <li>Create and publish works in accordance with policies, guidelines and College records management processes</li> <li>Oversee office operations and workflow and assist with supervision of reception staff</li> <li>Provide Exective Assistant support to the Principal in the absence of the EA</li> <li>Record meeting minutes and ation items concisely and accurately</li> </ul> <p><strong>Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certificate III Business Administration or equivalent</li> <li>Relevant experience within a compliance, regulatory or administrative role</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in online systems administration</li> <li>Ability to deliver high quality work in a busy environment</li> <li>Current first aid qualification, or willing to obtain</li> </ul> <p>Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>An Application Pack is available through the College website at&nbsp; www.sbsc.tas.edu.au/aboutsbsc/employment</p> <p>For further enquiries or an initial discussion regarding the role please contact Kirsty Ballantyne, HR Manager on 6424 7622</p> <p>Applications should be submitted via email to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:<a href='mailto:kballantyne@sbsc.tas.edu.au?subject=Administration%20Officer%20%2F%20Reception%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29'>kballantyne@sbsc.tas.edu.au</a>?subject=Administration%20Officer%20%2F%20Reception%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow"></a><a href="mailto:kballantyne@sbsc.tas.edu.au?subject=Administration%20Officer%20%2F%20Reception%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">kballantyne@sbsc.tas.edu.au</a></p> <p><strong>Applications close on Sunday 7 June 2026</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><i>Catholic Education Tasmania supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
