<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>As the <strong>People & HR Officer</strong>, you will be a central point of contact for staff, delivering high-quality human resources and administrative support across the College.</p>
<p>Working closely with the Principal and Business Manager, you will contribute to effective workforce practices while upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and the values of Lutheran education.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Human Resources & Administration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, and separations</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and confidential staff records and HR documentation</li>
<li>Support contracts, policies, and compliance processes</li>
<li>Provide guidance to staff on employment conditions and processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Recruitment & Induction</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate recruitment processes, including advertising, scheduling, and communication</li>
<li>Support interview logistics and documentation</li>
<li>Coordinate onboarding and induction for new staff</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Payroll & Remuneration Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations</li>
<li>Maintain staff leave and entitlement records</li>
<li>Prepare salary calculations, superannuation, and compliance documentation</li>
<li>Support statutory reporting and payroll compliance</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>General Administration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide administrative support to the Business Manager and leadership team</li>
<li>Utilise HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office tools</li>
<li>Assist with general office operations as required</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>

<p>Desirable:</p>

<li>Experience in education or a similar environment</li>
<li>Understanding of employment legislation, awards, and agreements</li>
