Cranbrook School is seeking a full-time HR Business Partner, based at the Senior School campus at Bellevue Hill.

<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Business Partner will be a strategic advisor and consultant to leaders across the School, providing expert human resources guidance and support to drive&nbsp;organisational&nbsp;effectiveness and employee engagement. This role acts as a liaison between HR and assigned areas of the School, translating strategy into HR initiatives and ensuring alignment between&nbsp;people&nbsp;practices and&nbsp;organisational&nbsp;goals.&nbsp;</p> <p>Responsibilities include strategic partnering, talent management, employee relations, organisational development, workforce planning and analytics, recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits.&nbsp;</p> <p>In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and partner with them to develop and implement strategies that support their objectives through organisational design, workforce planning and talent management. You will support managers through recruitment and selection, performance management, change management and facilitate learning and development programs.</p> <p>You will provide guidance on employee relations matters, award and agreement interpretation and HR policies and procedures. You will use data and key people metrics to identify opportunities for increased engagement and performance.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p>You are a collaborative team player with strong influencing skills and extensive experience partnering with senior leaders. You are adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity. With a proven track record in talent management and organisational development you also have experience managing complex employee relations issues. Results driven with exceptional attention to detail, you have a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. You have a high degree of integrity, the ability to maintain confidentiality,&nbsp;cultural sensitivity and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p> <ul> <li>5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 to 3 years in a HR Business Partner or generalist role</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business needs into HR solutions&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong business acumen and understanding of&nbsp;organisational&nbsp;dynamics&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven ability to build credibility and&nbsp;trusted&nbsp;relationships at all levels&nbsp;</li> <li>A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li> <li>High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate sensitive situations&nbsp;</li> <li>Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficiency&nbsp;in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in an independent school setting is not essential but will be highly regarded</li> <li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children&nbsp;</li> <li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.</li> </ul> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p> <p>Applications should include a resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and reasons for your interest in the position.
