The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>strong and active commitment to the practice of the Catholic Faith, with a well-developed understanding of the evangelising and catechising mission of the Catholic Church</li> <li>experience and skills in engaging young people into the diverse works of the Catholic Church</li> <li>an understanding of the emerging approaches to youth ministry and evangelisation</li> <li>commitment to and passion for events such as World Youth Day, the Australian Catholic Youth Festival, and Ignite Conference, as pilgrimages of faith for young people</li> <li>commitment to participate in and contribute to a formation program facilitated by Sydney Catholic Schools</li> <li>highly developed interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>group and teamwork facilitation skills</li> <li>capacity to foster and strengthen relationships between the school and parish communities</li> <li>excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills.</li> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation</li> <li>Category D as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.
