Lead student wellbeing, engagement, and community through dynamic House leadership
<p>St Columba's College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls' school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.</p>

<p>We are seeking an engaging and committed <strong>House Leader (POL3)</strong> to guide students in their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development while strengthening the culture and identity of their House. There is an ongoing teacher position attached to the role.</p>
<p>You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership, direction, and pastoral support for students within your House</li>
<li>Build a strong sense of identity, belonging, and engagement through House activities and programs</li>
<li>Support student wellbeing through proactive strategies, case management, and strong family partnerships</li>
<li>Mentor and collaborate with Housegroup Teachers to support consistent pastoral care practices</li>
<li>Contribute to whole-school events, student leadership initiatives, and community-building activities</li>
<li>Work closely with the Wellbeing and Learning teams to support each student’s holistic development</li>
</ul>
<p>We want to hear from you if you are an educator who:</p>

<li>Holds current registration (VIT) and relevant tertiary qualifications</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in student wellbeing, pastoral care, or leadership</li>
<li>Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Values collaboration, professional growth, and student-centred learning</li>
<li>Embodies the College’s values of compassion, justice, hope, truth, and love</li>
