<p>St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. St Peter's College offers a rich and relevant curriculum in a modern learning environment which provides every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.</p> <p>Applications are invited for a 11 months Leave Replacement position of <i><strong>Human Resources Officer. </strong></i>This position is being offered as a fixed term and full-time position. The position is available for commencement from 27 January 2026 and will conclude on 11 December 2026.</p> <p><strong>Our ideal candidates:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Will actively support the Catholic Identity of the College</li> <li>Have a strong understanding of relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act, DOSCEL/CEMEA (or similar) Agreement Interpretation and is able to implement robust procedures accordingly.</li> <li>Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in HR Coordinator/Officer roles.</li> <li>Ideally have experience managing Return to Work and Workers Compensation processes.</li> <li>Able to work as part of a collaborative team.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in a school environment would be highly desirable.</li> <li>Hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field.</li> <li>Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with valid work rights.</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current employee Working With Children's Check and National Police Check.</p> <p><strong>Salary</strong></p> <p>In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 7 July 2025, the salary range for the position is Category A, Level 4 Education Support Staff which ranges between $93,880 – $106,933 commensurate with qualifications and experience.</p> <p><strong>Application Process</strong></p> <p>For further enquiries, please contact Sandra Norton (HR Manager), on <a href="mailto:<a href='mailto:hremployment@stpeters.vic.edu.au?subject=Human%20Resources%20Officer%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29'>hremployment@stpeters.vic.edu.au</a>?subject=Human%20Resources%20Officer%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow"><strong></strong></a><strong><a href="mailto:hremployment@stpeters.vic.edu.au?subject=Human%20Resources%20Officer%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">hremployment@stpeters.vic.edu.au</a></strong> or phone <strong>(03) 5990 7717</strong>.
