Head of Humanities

<p>Due to growth in our Middle & Secondary School, we are looking for an <strong>inaugural Head of Humanities</strong>. The Humanities faculty subjects are HASS, History, Geography, Ancient History, Modern History, HPE, PE, and Sport & Rec. The position will include teaching History and Geography. This position commences in January 2026. </p>
<p>This is an opportunity for an innovative and creative leader to join the Heads of Department Leadership Team. Heads of Department are accountable to the Head and Deputy Head of the Middle and Secondary Campus through the Head of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning in shaping a Christ-centred and visionary staff within a department to build a professional team.</p>
<p>We require people with leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of current educational and pedagogical trends, a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and a passion for this role.
