<p>Faculty Leaders provide leadership of their respective faculty, including curriculum and learning, teachers and pedagogy, and facilities and resources. Faculty Leaders play a critical role in ensuring the College offers a high-quality and contemporary learning offering that supports students to achieve personal excellence and readiness for future study, work and life. A time allowance of approximately 0.4FTE is provided to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.</p>
<p><strong>Faculty Leader - Identities & Futures</strong></p>
<p><strong>1 x full time ongoing teaching position, PAR tenured for 2 years</strong><br><strong>Faculty-Specific Responsibilities – Identities & Futures</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the curriculum, teaching and learning for Exploring Identities & Futures, Activating Identities & Futures, and VET in School subjects across Years 7-12.</li>
<li>Monitor the progress of students regarding SACE Identities & Futures requirements, intervening as necessary.</li>
<li>Lead and oversee the Australian Business Week program for Year 10.</li>
<li>Oversee existing and develop future opportunities for VET in School programs.</li>
<li>Identify and develop relationships with industry and business partners for student internships.</li>
<li>Work with the Futures and VET coordinators in supporting events such as career expos and course counselling.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Faculty Leader - English</strong></p>
<p><strong>1 x full time ongoing teaching position, PAR tenured for 2 years</strong><br><strong>Faculty-Specific Responsibilities – English</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the curriculum, teaching and learning for English subjects (7-12) and English as an Additional Language subjects (7-12).</li>
<li>Lead the development and implementation of knowledge-rich curriculum programs within the faculty, in-line with relevant frameworks and requirements (i.e., MYP, Australian Curriculum, SACE, VET), including the development and maintenance of relevant documents (i.e., scope and sequence).</li>
<li>Model and share high-quality, evidence-informed, contemporary teaching practices that align with the College’s learning direction and the specific curriculum and co-curriculum programs in the faculty.</li>
<li>Support, monitor and mentor staff working in the faculty, creating opportunities for staff to lead and grow professionally.</li>
<li>Monitor the progress of students regarding SACE literacy requirements, intervening as necessary to ensure students meet the compulsory literacy requirement of the SACE</li>
