St Michael's Lutheran Primary School is an inclusive, dynamic primary school located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in the village of Hahndorf.  We are seeking an educator for a fixed term contract in Semester 2, 2025, working in our Beginning Learning Community (BLC), predominantly with our Mid-Year Foundation class.  The successful candidate will be supported in the classroom by a co-educator.

St Michael's is an IB school running multi-age classes throughout the school.  The successful candidate will work closely with their partner teachers to create a positive, innovative and inclusive learning environment for our BLC students.  In addition, they will demonstrate the ability to develop collaborative relationships with students, parents and staff.   A strong knowledge of learning through play and investigation is essential. Experience in Science of Reading and phonological awareness practices (Playberry Laser and Heggerty), and the UR Strong Friendology program or restorative practices would be highly considered.  The 'right' person for this position values and contributes to our community and personalises learning for students.  They value courage, curiosity, integrity and teamwork and they bring a hopeful and resilient attitude to their work.
