Position Purpose
The Assistant Head of the English Department gives expression to the College’s Mission and Vision by working with the Head of the English Department to develop a positive learning culture in English classes, centred on best practice. They will be an experienced and exceptional teacher of Advanced English with the skills to mentor staff to create a highly functioning, collaborative team. This leader of learning will be accomplished in current pedagogical strategies and data analysis to focus the department on improving learning outcomes.
Reporting Accountabilities
The Assistant Head of English is responsible and accountable to the College Principal.
Role Accountabilities

Remuneration
The remuneration for the position will be as follows:
Start Date
The preferred start date is mid-Term 2; however, there is flexibility to commence at a later date if required.
