Good Shepherd Lutheran College is an independent school in the Darwin region that offers outstanding education from Early Learning to Year 12, across three campuses: Howard Springs, Palmerston, and Leanyer. The College is an International Baccalaureate World School, delivering the Primary Years Programme across our three Junior Schools.
The Director of Staff is a key member of the College's Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for leading human resources strategy and operations, as well as overseeing the professional development of teaching staff. This role contributes both operationally and strategically to continuous improvement, day-to-day success and the delivery of the College Strategic Plan.
The successful candidate will support the growth and wellbeing of all staff, while ensuring human resource practices meet legal, financial, and educational compliance standards. They will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of effective policies, performance appraisal systems, professional learning initiatives and workforce planning that enable all staff to grow and flourish.
