St Brigid’s is a K - 6 Catholic Co-educational Primary School who nurture faith tradition, pursue excellence and are focused on creating preferred futures for all.  St Brigid’s Catholic School Wynyard has been providing a Catholic education for students since 1923. Founded by the OLSH Sisters, St Brigid’s currently offers co-educational classes from kindergarten through to Grade 6 for approximately 215 students.

The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Applicants will:

  • Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
  • Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching
  • Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
  • Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
  • Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
