<p>Located in the heart of Kew, Melbourne, Genazzano FCJ College is Victoria’s only Catholic all-girls’ boarding school. </p><p>Inspired by the traditions of the Catholic faith and the Ignatian heritage of the Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ), Genazzano  College is a demonstrably visionary and innovative learning community which embraces the talents, potential and dignity of each person. The College is a non-selective entry school from ELC – Year 12 and an authorised IB World School offering the PYP. Genazzano boarding students reside in the beautiful Hopetoun Hall heritage listed building which has a capacity of 40 students.</p><p>The Director of Boarding is a member of the Senior College Leadership Team reporting to the Deputy Principal for pastoral and academic matters, and the Director of Business Services for logistical, operational and compliance related matters. </p><p>The Director provides pro-active leadership and management of all the functions that enable the Boarding house to live out the College’s ethos in a safe, positive and inclusive manner. The primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative and managerial oversight for effective day-to-day operation of Hopetoun Hall.<br /> </p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:</p><ul><li>advocate for residential students and nurture positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to encourage and support each and every boarder to find their voice and achieve their academic, sporting and co-curricular personal best in an inclusive residential culture where all thrive </li><li>lead a house where high expectations are set and often surpassed when administering, overseeing and adhering to best practice across all pastoral, operational, logistical, financial and legal (including risk, compliance, and all boarding related regulatory frameworks) requirements</li><li>promote the positive and impactful story of a contemporary boarding experience through diverse channels including social media as well as in a variety of forums, including information evenings, regional or international fairs or online webinars</li><li>work collaboratively as part of the Senior College Leadership Team, playing an active role in the development and implementation of the current and future strategies and objectives of the Boarding house to ensure the College makes the best use of its resources. </li></ul><p>With a negotiable start date (preferably asap), this role is offered as an initial three-year contract and has the added benefit of onsite accommodation.
