<p>We are seeking a Head of Christian Education (Senior School). This is a full time, permanent position with a leadership pay allowance. </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a growing and highly regarded independent co-educational Christian school with over 1,600 students from Pre-K to Year 12. Located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, the College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Attributes</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher who is:</p><ul><li>a Christian and personally committed to:<ul><li>the doctrines, tenets and beliefs of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Sydney.</li><li>regular, active involvement in a bible teaching church.</li></ul></li><li>passionate about teaching the bible to teenagers.</li><li>keen to take initiatives to advance the College’s vision, values and approach to Christian education.</li><li>able to lead an enthusiastic team of Christian Education teachers.</li><li>committed to teaching Christian education lessons. </li><li>capable of leading Senior School chapel services. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Teaching &amp; Learning</strong></p><ul><li>Orchestrate engaging lessons that maximise learning for all students in the class.</li><li>Effectively teach students with identified needs.</li><li>Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve.</li><li><p>Committed to RHAC’s 5 teaching and learning principles.</p><p> </p></li></ul><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Involvement in College activities and events including:</p><ul><li>Contributing to the student wellbeing program, extra-curricular activities and camps.</li><li>Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities.</li><li>Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.</li><li>Attending College events, including parent teacher meetings.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Contract</strong></p><p>All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools Standards Model Multi Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The MEA outlines teacher’s salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.
