This is a permanent, full-time opportunity commencing in term 1 2025.</p><p>The Director of Teaching and Learning is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, sharing responsibility for leadership of the College&#39;s vision, mission and strategic priorities. The Director of Learning is delegated responsibility by the Principal to work with the Assistant Principal - Student Achievement to lead teaching and learning. We teach in dynamic learning spaces, using evidence-based teaching strategies to enable learning growth for all students. At the heart of our approach is a strong commitment to wellbeing ensuring that students feel safe and supported in an environment that challenges them to be the very best person they can be, living life as a disciple of Jesus and making a difference to society.</p><p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Catholic life and culture of the school within the evangelising mission of the Church</li><li>Demonstrate strategic leadership, working collaboratively with the members of the Senior Leadership team to realise the mission, vision and strategic intentions of the College.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the Director of Wellbeing and Leader of Learner Diversity to support the holistic development of all students.</li><li>Provide leadership, support and professional development for the Leaders of Learning.</li><li>Ensure that the learning experiences for students are of a high quality and are differentiated to meet students at their point of challenge.</li><li>Administer NESA Curriculum administration</li><li>Administer all College-based and external assessments and examinations, including ROSA, NAPLAN and HSC.</li><li>Administer the subject selection</li><li>Administer Collaborative Planning Time and Continuous Improvement Conversations for all staff.</li><li>Collaborate with the Assistant Principals and Leader of Data and Accreditation to effectively use data to track students’ learning gain and growth.</li><li>Oversee the monitoring and recording of qualitative and quantitative data to improve student outcomes.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the Leader of Wellbeing to ensure that the Middle Leadership Team functions as a cohesive and integrated team.</li><li>Administer all reporting processes in the College</li><li>Convene and chair Learning Teams meetings</li><li>Assist the Senior Leadership team in planning and facilitating major college events.</li><li>Be involved in the extra curricular life of the College</li></ul><p>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.</p><p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong></p><p>Our Vision is to provide &#39;authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion&#39;.
