Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified senior teacher to join our community in the position of Head of Department for Digital Technologies + Coordinator of Digital Learning.

<p><strong>Head of Department/ Teacher: 1.0 FTE</strong></p><p><i>Two Positions of Leadership: </i></p><p>Head of Digital Technologies:     3 years/Two Point Leadership Position</p><p>Digital Learning Coordinator       2 years/One point Leadership Position</p><p><i>Ongoing Position</i></p><p>Commencing: 3 February 2025 </p><p><strong>About our College:</strong></p><p>Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.</p><p>As a Josephite College with an enrolment of over 990 students, we work to provide our students with a well-rounded Catholic education, encouraging a life-long love of learning.</p><p>Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified senior teacher to join our community in the position of Head of Department for Digital Technologies &#43; Coordinator of Digital Learning.</p><p>Whilst the substantive role of Teacher is of an ongoing nature, the tenure of the appointment of the Head of Department is 3 years.  The Coordinator of Digital Learning Position of Leadership is for 2 years.  The commencement date of the position is 3 February 2025.</p><p>To be eligible applicants are required to:</p><ul><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li></ul><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><p>We demonstrate our commitment to Reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p><p>To download an Application Package and Application for Employment form visit our website at www.shc.tas.edu.au/community/employment.
