<p>St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational school located in Devonport on the North West Coast of Tasmania catering for students from Years 7 to 12. The College is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters excellence, compassion and service in our students.</p><p>We are seeking applications from enthusiastic Cleaners who are able to undertake general and routine cleaning duties to ensure a clean, hygienic, safe and instructionally supportive environment that enables enhanced student learning outcomes.</p><p>Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Sweep, vacuum clean and mop floors as appropriate; and use appropriate safety signage to alert students and staff</li><li>Regularly dust and wipe down table, desk and counter surfaces and routinely clean door handles</li><li>Clean all accessible classroom and office equipment and fittings</li><li>Empty indoor rubbish bins</li><li>Clean all bathroom facilities including showers, toilets and sinks</li><li>Assist with cleaning and notify supervisor of required repairs as a result of student accidents; extreme weather; or acts of vandalism</li><li>Isolate malfunctioning equipment and report incidents using School procedures</li><li>Follow chemical usage and storage procedures</li></ul><p>We have both an ongoing part time position available working 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday term time only as well as casual/relief positions available.</p><p><i><strong>Please specify in your application your preference for an ongoing or relief contract.</strong></i></p><p>Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.<br /> </p><p>Catholic Education Tasmania supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
