This is an exciting opportunity to lead and foster a culture of academic excellence and shape the academic journey of Year 9 students in a dedicated learning setting.</p><p>As the Director of Curriculum – Croagh Patrick, you will drive the creation of a dynamic and inclusive curriculum, support innovative teaching methods, and encourage personal and academic growth. In this role you will collaborate closely with the leadership team, staff, students, and families to ensure that the curriculum is both challenging and aligned with the values of St Patrick’s College. The position blends strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, guiding Year 9 students through an essential phase of their educational journey.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>As a passionate, collaborative and visionary education leader and teacher, you will have:</p><ul><li>Proven experience in a leadership role within an education setting, with a focus on curriculum development and teaching excellence</li><li>A strong understanding of contemporary education practices and the ability to implement innovative teaching strategies</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating both students and staff, with the ability to build effective relationships with all members of the school community</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively in a school team to plan and implement effective teaching and learning</li><li>A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.</li><li>Teaching excellence in the Australian Curriculum and using research based best pedagogical practices</li><li>A genuine passion for fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and holistic development in students.</li><li>An understanding of and alignment with the Catholic values and ethos of St. Patrick’s College, and the ability to integrate these principles into your leadership and teaching.</li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
