<p>Our Lady of Mercy College is seeking an inspiring and experienced Head of Science to lead a dedicated team of educators in fostering a dynamic and rigorous learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation within the Science department, shaping the future of Science education for students in Years 7-12.<br><br><br><br><br><strong>Who are we?</strong><br><br>Our Lady of Mercy College (OLMC), Parramatta is a leading Catholic independent school for girls established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1889. The College is located within a dynamic educational precinct in North Parramatta. <br><br><br><br><strong>The opportunity</strong><br><br>The successful applicant will have experience or a determination to lead collaboration across faculties to enhance STEM engagement of students. They will lead the faculty by modelling best practice in teaching, implementation and design of creative and contemporary curriculum (Years 7-12), improve the achievement of students and effectiveness of teachers, and oversee all operational, budgeting and record keeping requirements.
