St Ignatius' College Riverview is seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Head of Faculty - Religious Education to join our team starting Term 1, 2025 - full-time, ongoing with a 0.8FTE teaching load.

Located on picturesque grounds in Lane Cove, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education for day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.</p><p>We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Head of Faculty - Religious Education to join our team. You will be a part of a vibrant educational community which aims to provide students the opportunity to utilise their talents to make a difference in the community.</p><p>The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2025 and carries a teaching load of 0.8 FTE.</p><p><strong>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>The successful applicant needs to:</p><ul><li>be an innovative, engaging and collaborative teacher of Religious Education across Years 7 – 10 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion with demonstrated leadership experience.</li></ul><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><p>The successful applicants will:</p><ul><li>Hold the appropriate teaching qualifications</li><li>Be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW</li><li>Have the skills to deliver lessons that stimulate and engage students of all academic abilities</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents</li><li>Have experience leading a team, driving change.</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning</li><li>Be willing to contribute to the Community Contribution Program at the College</li><li>Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people</li></ul>
