<p>St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College is a co-educational independent school providing education to students from Years 7-12. Located in Southwest Sydney, our school is embedded in the Christian faith and its values. We believe in providing a nurturing and inclusive educational environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and socially. We integrate these principles and values into our curriculum, fostering an atmosphere of respect, integrity, and empathy.</p><p>Our college is seeking qualified and passionate Teacher Aides to support the academic development of our students.</p><p>We have 2 part-time (5 days per week) positions available, these are temporary roles that commence Term 1, 2025 until the end of Term 4, 2025 with hours starting from 8:20 am-2:50 pm (6.5 hours per day)</p><p>The successful applicant will play a vital role in helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment, facilitating the academic and spiritual growth of our students.</p><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to teach strategies to improve literacy and numeracy learning outcomes for each student (Year 7-10).</li><li>Experience in providing support to students with additional needs</li><li>An understanding and support of the School&#39;s Christian values</li><li>A genuine desire to work with high school students to enhance their literacy &amp; numeracy skills</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support</li><li>A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li></ul><p><strong>Applications close: Thursday  21 November 2024 (interviews may commence prior)</strong></p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>Applications should be made in writing and forwarded to Janet Jammo, Human Resources via email at hr&#64;acs.nsw.edu.au by the closing date.</p><p>1) A cover letter addressing the Essential Criteria and suitability to the position ( no more than 2 pages)</p><p>2) CV, including two referees (Referees will be contacted only after prior consultation with the candidate)</p>
