<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hybrid - World Square, CBD and WFH<br><strong>Commencement Date</strong>: Immediate start or by negotiation<br><strong>Closing Date:</strong> Wednesday, 30 October 2024<br><strong>Capacity:</strong> Full-time, permanent<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Supervisor: Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for attracting and engaging high-quality talent to Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS), being an ambassador of SCS to potential candidates and is responsible for promoting and showcasing SCS's employee value proposition.</p><p>In addition to these responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Partner will play a key role in recruiting senior leaders for schools, ensuring the right leadership talent is identified and onboarded. This role works closely with hiring managers to deliver innovative end-to-end recruitment services that enhance both hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience. Through strategic resourcing, talent identification, and market insights, Talent Acquisition Partners act as subject matter experts across all recruitment areas, providing well-informed, data-driven solutions.<br><br>Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:</p><ul><li>partnering with hiring managers to identify talent needed for the short and long term to deliver directorate and network strategies and business plans</li><li>liaising and informing managers on existing roles and escalating requests for new roles and role descriptions to the Performance and Capability team</li><li>advising hiring managers on the advantages and disadvantages of various hiring options to fill talent gaps</li><li>acting as a conduit between candidates and hiring managers</li><li>introducing new and contemporary tools and platforms to support hiring practices and processes</li><li>developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field</li><li>contributing to revisions of recruitment policies and procedures and ensuring that fair employment practices are implemented</li><li>maintaining knowledge of workplace discrimination legislation, relevant enterprise agreements, industrial instruments, employment legislation, policies and contract law</li><li>utilising a broad range of direct sourcing channels to attract talent, particularly LinkedIn, including proactive sourcing such as professional networking and targeted talent attraction</li><li>utilising professional pre-employment screening techniques to ascertain candidate skills, experience and behavioural traits</li><li>assisting with the development, and implementation, of a robust and positive onboarding experience for all SCS employees</li><li>any other duties as directed from time to time.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills, qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li>tertiary qualification/certification in Human Resources Management, Business, Commerce or other related fields with at least three years post-qualification experience</li><li>demonstrated ability to network and understand the sector to tap into internal and external candidates to source the best talent</li><li>demonstrated solutions-focused thinking and openness to innovative and alternative solutions</li><li>excellent analytical skills to examine resumes and find the best-suited candidates</li><li>demonstrated knowledge of hiring strategies, labour laws, employment equity and negotiating terms and conditions of employment</li><li>demonstrated experience in using contemporary recruitment practices and executing strategic sourcing approaches</li><li>a willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>a current driver's licence and access to a car.</li></ul><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>experience working in a school environment, ideally within Catholic schools</li><li>strong understanding of the Catholic education system, including its ethos, values, and mission</li><li>familiarity with relevant industrial instruments, such as Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Award systems, particularly within the education sector</li><li>baptised and/or practising Catholic, with a commitment to upholding and promoting the values of Catholic education.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br>In joining SCS, you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW.
