The school is seeking a suitably qualified and dynamic TAS Teacher. Reporting to the Head of TAS, you will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning experiences that reflect the core values of the school within a Secondary School setting.</p><p>TAS teachers at this school use a blend of explicit instruction and project-based learning to develop engaging, skills-driven programs. They encourage student voice and agency while also considering reasonable constraints, sustainable practices, and collaboration.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Technology and Applied Studies department.</li><li>Develop and implement an engaging and relevant curriculum that aligns with educational standards and prepares students for success.</li><li>Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that inspires students to explore and excel in technology, design, and applied studies.</li><li>Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote a holistic educational experience for students.</li><li>Actively engage with parents, students, and the broader school community to build positive relationships and support student development.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified to teach a range of TAS subjects including computing technologies</li><li>NESA accreditation</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of TAS syllabus documents and assessment strategies</li><li>Demonstrated excellence and proficiency as a classroom teacher</li><li>Collegiate and a good team player</li><li>Regularly practicing member of a Christian church</li></ul><p> </p><p>If you meet all the criteria and are seeking a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply!</p>
