<p>We are seeking a qualified <strong>Learning Support Teacher</strong> who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of the NCCD on students with learning support needs. This is a permanent part-time position.</p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>The Learning Support Teacher is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) on students in need of learning support. This role involves ensuring that the school complies with legislative requirements and provides accurate data to support students with diverse learning needs.</p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Assess and diagnose learning disorders and learning support needs</li><li>Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans</li><li>Oversee the implementation of learning support plans  </li><li>Liaise with other stakeholders including other health professionals and relevant staff members</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will have:</strong>  </p><ul><li>Previous experience in a Learning Support role</li><li>Previous experience in a relevant managerial position </li><li>Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li><li>Current First Aid/ CPR Certificate</li><li>Strong ability to work independently and engage with various school staff (ie., teachers, teachers’ aides, and school counsellors)</li><li>Professional, warm and empathetic approach</li><li>Excellent organisation and time management skills</li><li>Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>Applications must include a cover letter, resume and three current referees and be directed to:</p><p><strong>Dr Wissam Mustapha, Headmaster</strong></p><p>Email: <a href="mailto:careers&#64;azc.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">careers&#64;azc.nsw.edu.au</a></p><p> </p>
