<p>Scots All Saints College is seeking a Head of the Arts to commence in 2025 who will lead and promote engagement with and enjoyment of The Arts across Preparatory School to Year 12. The Arts at the College encompasses the curricular and co-curricular program of activities for Music, Pipes and Drums, Dance, Drama and Visual Arts.</p><p>Scots All Saints College is an independent, multi-campus Preparatory-12 co-educational day and boarding school located in Bathurst, Central West NSW. Our students are provided with a nurturing and supportive environment while being educated by highly skilled academic, support and operational staff.</p><p>The College is a school of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and provides unparalleled space and learning opportunities in an environment where students can develop academically, culturally, socially and spiritually.</p><p>Close to Sydney but far enough away to enjoy the benefits of regional living, Bathurst has a rich heritage, boundless natural beauty to enjoy, colour-filled and distinct seasons, welcoming churches, great cafes and markets along with a series of gorgeous satellite towns to explore. On campus accommodation may be available for the successful applicant. </p><p>Working strategically with relevant stakeholders, the Head of the Arts will develop a range of opportunities which allow students to access high quality Arts activities and gain an excellent Arts education. The role includes the integration of Arts into events and functions both within and outside the College community.</p><p>As Head of The Arts you will be leading a dynamic, experienced and capable group of staff who work closely together to provide an enriching and challenging program for the respective learning areas.</p><p>To be successful in this role, you need to possess proven knowledge and experience of best practice pedagogy in Music along with a willingness to learn about additional curriculum areas.</p><p>The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a multi-tasking environment and able to work with several competing issues and demands. Demonstrated ability of a high level of competence in the classroom is expected.</p><p>A proven understanding and knowledge of teaching pedagogy together with a wholehearted commitment to the College’s Ethos is also a requirement of the role.
