Responsible for all aspects of learning, teaching, assessment, monitoring, curriculum and leading a diverse and collaborative team to achieve positive outcomes and inspire students to engage themselves deeply within Mathematics.</p><p><strong>Key relationships</strong></p><ul><li>Principal</li><li>Deputy Principal</li><li>Director of Teaching and Learning</li><li>Students</li><li>Parents</li><li>Colleagues </li></ul><p><strong>Reports to</strong></p><ul><li>Director of Teaching and Learning</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, skills and experience</strong></p><ul><li>Be an experienced, highly effective, innovative and motivated educator with a passion for teaching and learning.</li><li>Experience in leading a team.</li><li>Have proven ability to personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12.</li><li>Be committed to student academic growth with proven ability in using academic data to inform teaching practice.</li><li>Actively foster a culture of mathematical inquiry and collaborative learning.</li><li>Be experienced in teaching Stage 6 courses, Mathematics Extension 1 (essential) and Extension 2 desirable. </li><li>Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Possess a strong knowledge of the NSW Mathematics curriculum.</li><li>Be an excellent communicator who is collegial, flexible and approachable.</li><li>Possess strong ICT competencies.</li><li>Be willing to be involved in the broader life of the College and actively and enthusiastically support the co-curricular and outdoor education program of the College.</li><li>Actively support the Christian mission and values of the College.</li></ul><p><strong>Applications</strong></p><p>Applicants must submit a full application, addressed to The Principal, including application form, a relevant cover letter, resume and supporting documents through the College website: <strong>www.http://www.roseville.nsw.edu.au/careers/ </strong></p><p>However please note, interviews may commence upon receipt of suitable applicants.</p><p><strong>Applications close: 1 October 2024.</strong></p><p>Roseville College is a member of The Anglican Schools Corporation (ASC). <br /> </p>
