<p>Join the dynamic community at St. Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School as an Instructional Leader (Literacy/Numeracy), where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning journey of K-6 students. </p><p>The Instructional Leader will have considerable experience across grade levels with a high-level understanding of the learning needs of K-6 students and will also demonstrate collaborative leadership skills with the ability to build a sustainable team environment.</p><p>An integral team member, you will collaborate with teachers to integrate best practices and innovative strategies. </p><p>You will also mentor educators through peer observations, constructive feedback, and model lessons, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and independent learning, while working closely with the Executive staff and external bodies.</p><p>Embrace this unique opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact on both students and staff at St. Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School.</p><p>This permanent full-time role will commence at the start of the 2025 school year and attracts a 2-point Coordinator allowance.  </p><p> <strong>Essential criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated expertise in developing and integrating effective strategies tailored for K-6 students</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience and effectiveness in the development of literacy and numeracy practices.</li><li>Support whole school Literacy and Numeracy programs and coach and support classroom teachers</li><li>The ability to mentor and support teachers in their professional learning journey.</li><li>Lead the promotion of team teaching, encouraging a collaborative educational environment.</li><li>Develop a culture that promotes independent learning and continuous improvement within the classroom.</li><li>Collaborate with Executive staff to analyse student performance data and use this information to inform instructional decisions.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional support to ensure optimal teaching outcomes, and thereby, student outcomes.</li></ul><p> <strong>Applicants must hold</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary Qualification in Education, preferably a master’s degree</li><li>NESA accredited to teach in NSW, Proficient level</li><li>A current, valid NSW Working with Children Check</li></ul><p>Salaries are based on the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 (and paid above the Agreed rate).</p><p><br /> <strong>How to apply</strong><br /> Applications should be made in writing and forwarded to Janet Jammo, Human Resources Manager via email at <a href="mailto:hr&#64;acs.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">hr&#64;acs.nsw.edu.au</a> by the closing date.</p><p>1)  A cover letter addressing the Essential criteria and suitability to the position (no more than 2 pages)</p><p>2) CV, including at least three referees (Referees will be contacted only after prior consultation with the candidate)</p><p>3) NESA eTAMS Teacher Summary Report</p><p> </p>
