<p><strong>The role:</strong></p><p>The Senior Lead: Culture &amp; Safeguarding plays a critical role in ensuring high standards of child safeguarding across the CESL school system. This role focuses on developing practices and a culture that supports a robust child-safeguarding agenda, in accordance with the Victorian Child-Safe Standards and the National Catholic Child Safe Standards. You will lead the implementation of evidence-based strategies to create calm, culturally safe, and respectful learning environments. This position is also responsible for ensuring the integration of safeguarding standards across all CESL entities, with a particular focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of child safeguarding and wellbeing programs across CESL schools.</li><li>Implement and track evidence-based strategies, including MTSS Tier One curriculum and timely interventions, ensuring a safe and inclusive school environment.</li><li>Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to embed the Child Safeguarding Standards across all CESL entities.</li><li>Provide leadership and support for Tier 3 interventions, focusing on culturally safe schools and outstanding Aboriginal Education programs.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in student behaviour and wellbeing curricula, ensuring alignment with CESL’s mission and values.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary qualification in a relevant area (e.g., Business, Education).</li><li>Significant experience in educational leadership, child safeguarding, and wellbeing curriculum.</li><li>Strong understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.</li><li>Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and implement research-informed curriculum.</li></ul><p>Why <strong>Catholic Education Sandhurst</strong>?</p><p>Join a vibrant community that values leadership, innovation, and faith.
