We are fiercely proud to be a girls’ school that values an education specifically for girls.</p><p>We are specialists in uplifting young women: every aspect of our teaching and learning is tailored for them, and every program for wellbeing, health development, leadership and learning caters to their specific needs.</p><p><strong>Our purpose is to instill unwavering courage and curiosity to educate young women of ambition, integrity and consequence.  To us, every student is remarkable in the making.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><u>The role:</u></strong></p><p>At present, we are excited to invite applications to the role of <strong>Head (Director) of Music P-12,</strong> <strong>commencing on a permanent full-time basis in Term 1, 2025.</strong>  To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must possess the following, at a minimum:</p><ul><li>Accreditation to teach in NSW.</li><li>One or more advanced (post-graduate), specialist qualifications in Music.</li><li>An extensive history of achieving exceptional outcomes across all secondary Music subjects, up to Music Extension 1.</li><li>Exposure to and, ideally, previous oversight of Music P-6.</li><li>At least 2 years’ experience leading a Music faculty.</li><li>An in-depth working knowledge, at a supervisory level, of all aspects of Music beyond the classroom (i.e. co-curricular, extra-curricular, special events).</li><li>A base-level understanding of the complexities of employment arrangements as they pertain to Teachers vs Non-Teachers.</li><li>A demonstrated appreciation of the unique, important, and highly visible role that Music can and should play within the wider school community.</li><li>A genuine passion for music and its ability to enrich the lives of our students, creating space for joy and nourishing young hearts and minds.</li></ul><p><strong>Please note that discussions are ongoing regarding what this high-profile role could look like at Kambala moving forward</strong>.
