As part of a team of committed and professional staff, you will provide advice, administration and compliance support to the Director of People & Finance (P&C) and P&C Specialist in the delivery of People and Culture responsibilities, to ensure that all employees are supported in their work. This is a part time role (4 days a week).

<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p><br /><strong>As a P&amp;C Advisor, your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Recruitment, selection and onboarding support.</li><li>Providing Advisory support to employees and management.</li><li>Contributing to employee relations and engagement activities.</li><li>Contributing to all aspects of the employee lifecycle processes.</li><li>Interpret industrial instruments and provide advice to employees and management.</li><li>Preparing reports, analysing data and providing insights to management.</li><li>Work closely with the P&amp;C Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of the P&amp;C team.</li></ul><p><strong>Who will the successful applicant be?</strong></p><ul><li>2-5 years’ experience in a role delivering the full operations of end-to-end employee life cycle, in a medium size business (school or other).</li><li>Certificate or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent field.</li><li>Experience in handling level 2 workplace queries, complaints and grievances.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HR legislation and capability in interpreting industrial instruments.</li><li>Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty, empathy and collaboration in delivering positive outcomes for the School.</li><li>Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with an unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, discretion and confidentiality.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).</li><li>Positive and proactive attitude.</li><li>Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Human Resources experience in a Faith-based school or other educational environment.</li><li>Experience in implementing an HRIS system.</li><li>Experience in project management, policy development and process improvement.</li><li>Experience in WGEA reporting.</li><li>Lives an authentically Christian life, with integrity, honesty and empathy.</li></ul><p><strong>For a detailed position description and to apply  </strong><a href="https://www.sacs.nsw.edu.au/employment/" rel="nofollow">https://www.sacs.nsw.edu.au/employment/</a></p><p><strong>Applications close: 4:00pm, Thursday 26 September 2024</strong></p><p>Interviews will commence as applications are received.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Who are we?</strong></p><p>St Andrew’s Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The school offers students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama and outdoor education.
