The successful candidate will have an ongoing Teaching position. This position reports directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning and the Head of Senior School.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>This role will work collaboratively with the Head of Senior School, Director of Teaching and Learning, Coordinator of Operations and Academic Administration, other Heads of Department, Professional Services, and teachers in the Senior School.</p><p>The Head of Department will:</p><ul><li>implement the Scots’ Vision for Teaching and Learning.</li><li>lead the adoption and promotion of Scots core values, vision, and mission.</li><li>build and strengthen culture, community, and leadership.</li><li>facilitate engagement, marketing, and brand building opportunities; and</li><li>excel in the delivery and maintenance of evidence-based teaching and learning programs</li></ul><p><strong>Applications Closing Date: Sunday 8 September 2024</strong></p><p><strong>About the School</strong></p><p>Scots is a progressive, academic day and boarding school renowned as the leading HSC school on the Border. Additionally, there is a generous tuition fee discount for the children of Scots staff.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Applicant</strong></p><p>The successful applicant for this role will ideally be an outstanding and proven educator who is passionate about teaching and learning; a strong leader with an understanding and experience in delivering Stage 5 &amp; 6 NESA Courses.
