The role is dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning experiences. This includes supporting teachers in their continuous improvement, focusing on developing knowledge and skills to enhance student learning, leading and modelling professional learning within the school, and promoting evidence-based High Impact Teaching strategies

<p>The role involves liaising with Literacy and Numeracy Leaders to develop effective curriculum strategies and working with teachers to ensure every student is engaged and learning successfully. Additionally, the position entails leading curriculum development, aligning assessment practices with curriculum standards, and supporting teachers in professional development. The role promotes a culture of inquiry, innovation, and successful learning, guiding a professional learning community, and utilizing data to improve student outcomes. Commitment to continual learning, professional development, and providing targeted support for new and inexperienced staff are key aspects of this role.</p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and skills;</p><p>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</p><ul><li>&nbsp;<ul><li>Guide and support a professional learning community and support teachers to collaborate, work effectively and to learn from each other’s practices.</li><li>Work with teams to build staff skills in analysing and interpreting data, which includes reviewing student achievement data and determine strategies for the continuous improvement of student outcomes.</li><li>Work with teams to establish school improvement targets, monitor progress and evaluate their effectiveness.</li><li>Actively promote a range of evidence based High Impact Teaching strategies - including explicit instruction to maximise student learning.</li><li>Liaise with the Literacy and Numeracy Leaders to develop effective strategies within the curriculum to improve student outcomes.</li><li>Ensure assessment practices are aligned with the curriculum and are designed to clarify learning intentions.</li></ul></li></ul><p>This is a fixed term position until December 31, 2025.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CES Ltd)</strong></p><p>CES Ltd is situated in Central and North Eastern Victoria, home to 52 Catholic schools educating&nbsp;19,750 students in large regional&nbsp;centres and small vibrant townships.
