<p>Exciting Opportunity: Head of Middle School </p><p>Join our vibrant educational community at All Saints Anglican School in this new role of Head of Middle School. </p><p><strong>Overview:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Middle School division with vision, passion, and leadership. The Head of Middle School will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment for students in year 5 to 8. This is a new position at All Saints Anglican School for 2025 and the successful applicant will be motivated to join a school in its second year of operation with the opportunity to oversee significant growth in coming years.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead a culture of care, respect, integrity, inclusion and excellence</li><li>Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Middle School curriculum and programs</li><li>Mentor and support Middle School teaching staff to ensure excellence in teaching practices</li><li>Collaborate with other school leaders to promote a cohesive educational experience for students</li><li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community</li></ul><p><strong>About You and the Role:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated excellence in teaching and learning across Years 5-8.</li><li>A genuine excitement and desire for equipping students in their middle years to be the best person that they can be</li><li>Passionate about creating a safe and inclusive learning environment</li><li>Excited by the opportunities of working with students who are in such a unique stage of their learning and lives</li><li>The ability to build a team of passionate middle years educators who are committed to the students in their care and to building capacity in each other. </li><li>Ability to plan and lead effective and authentic teaching and learning strategies.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills for communication and collaboration.<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to provide feedback to team members about the achievement of goals.</li><li>The ability to promote positive staff morale and a team ethic</li><li>Excellent relationships with parents.</li></ul></li><li>Comprehensive experience in building a connected school community and positive culture.</li><li>Understanding and experience in supporting student welfare and pastoral care</li><li>A practical knowledge and passion for restorative practices as a tool for building strong relationships</li><li>Demonstrated success in a senior leadership position </li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary teaching applications and theory.</li><li>Ability to contribute to the co-curricular life of All Saints</li><li>Use creative and innovative teaching practices to cater to different learning styles.</li><li>Hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.</li></ul><p>If you are a dynamic educational leader looking to make a significant impact in the lives of middle school students, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
