The College is seeking to employ an experienced educator and leader in a newly created position. The right candidate will be able to enhance our current offerings, develop areas of new growth, and lead others who will deliver quality programs.

<p>Thomas Hassall Anglican College is a vibrant P-12 independent College located with close access to the M5 and M7 in the growing South West of Sydney. The College is well known in the community for its wide offering of co-curricular programs which create a sense of belonging to our students during their time at College.</p><p>The right candidate will be able to enhance our current offerings, develop areas of new growth, and lead others who will deliver the quality programs. She or he will be an active Christian who understands how to integrate faith in relevant and authentic ways. </p><p>The right candidate will work collaboratively with staff and students across P-12. The successful person will have a track record of building and leading successful teams, with a passion for contemporary learning methods, service learning and a commitment to excellence in and outside the classroom.</p><p><strong>Key Selection Criteria </strong></p><p>The successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church</li><li>Demonstrated ability to envisage, initiate and grow new programs</li><li>A passion for assisting students in developing their skills </li><li>A track record of success in building effective teams within and across departments sections and functions of a school</li><li>Demonstrated skills, experience and success in leadership, administration, and organisation with the ability to manage time and competing priorities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral)</li><li>Effective time management skills</li><li>Excellent leadership skills, including approachability, listening skills, and showing initiative. </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Primary or Secondary Teaching qualifications.</li><li>Master degree in Education or Leadership is desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Applications should include:</strong></p><ul><li>Cover application letter</li><li>Completion of Employment Application form available on the College website - This should include the names, addresses and phone numbers of three confidential referees.
