We are committed to our system of schools being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and 3000 employees.  Based in Sydney covering an expansive geographical area including the Central Coast, Northern Beaches, and North Shore. </p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p><p>In this role you will partner with School Leaders and provide consistent advice and support to people leaders and employees regarding all people related matters. </p><p>As the HR Business Partner, you will assist all key stakeholders in change management and engagement initiatives and offer guidance on people related matters regarding workforce procedures such as grievances, misconduct, and performance improvement.  With a high degree of attention to detail, you will interpret and advise on policy, enterprise agreements and oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle.   </p><p>Collaborate with the broader Capability and Enablement of our People team, including Talent, Learning and Development, Employee Services and Payroll to assist in the implementation of initiatives and retain talent across the system. </p><p>Key responsibilities include: </p><ul><li>Business partnering with a portfolio of our School Leaders to support their school goals and to drive the effective delivery of system people initiatives </li><li>Provide advice and support throughout the entire employee life cycle, utilising a data driven approach </li><li>Be a champion of engagement and improving overall employee experience </li><li>Effectively manage employee relations matters as required </li><li>Ensure consistent communication and delivery of people initiatives across the system that support strengthening workplace culture </li><li>Engage in strategic project work as a SME on a range of people matters </li></ul><p>This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the HR Business Partnerships Lead; this role will be based at our Central Office in Pennant Hills.  </p><p> <strong> </strong> </p><p><strong>About You  </strong> </p><p>As the ideal candidate you will meet the following key requirements:   </p><ul><li>You must be supportive of the Catholic ethos   </li><li>A continuous learner to ensure that you stay up to date on evolving HR trends and best practice and employment related legislation  </li><li>Business acumen and strategic thinker, who can translate school needs into actionable HR initiatives and be able to measure the impact   </li><li>Strong communication and relationship building abilities that allow you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build trust  </li><li>A customer service and inquisitive mindset  </li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate and informed written and verbal communications  </li><li>Problem solving, data analysis and digital literacy to be able to tackle complex HR issues and leverage data for informed decision-making </li><li>Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Suite </li><li>Prior experience in a HR Business Partner or similar role </li><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or HR Practitioner Credential  </li><li>A valid Working with Children Check  </li><li>Current NSW Driver’s Licence and own vehicle (as some travel will be required)  </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits of Working with Us  </strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive salary on offer  </li><li>Free onsite parking or public transport close by  </li><li>Generous leave entitlements including Ex-Gratia and Annual Leave Loading   </li><li>Employee School Fee Discount and Referral Program </li><li>Salary Packaging for eligible employees </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Application Process  </strong> </p><p>Applications should include:   </p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than one page addressing why you are the right person for the role   </li><li>A current resume </li></ul><p> </p><p>Applications should be sent directly to Jennifer Tiglao – j<a href="mailto:jennifer.tiglao&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow"><u>ennifer.tiglao&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</u></a>  </p><p><strong>Closing date: 5pm on Wednesday 3 July 2024</strong> </p><p>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.    </p><p> </p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
