Seeking an experienced Employment Relations Specialist to join our Employment Relations team on a temporary full-time basis, from July to October 2024

<p><strong>Location: </strong>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese</p><p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We are currently seeking an experienced Employment Relations Specialist to join our Employment Relations team on a temporary full-time basis, from July to October 2024. This is an exciting and varied role where you will work closely with our schools and catholic schools office employees to provide professional employment relations and industrial relations (ER/IR) advice&nbsp; across all employee lifecycle activities. You will also&nbsp; have exposure to Enterprise Agreement making activities.&nbsp;</p><p>This role will report directly to the Employment Relations Manager, and provides an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy and friendly team environment, delivering high standards and timely outcomes for our organisation. This is an exciting time to join our team as we are undergoing a period of transformation across our People and Culture (P&amp;C) operating model, so this role will play a key role in shaping our future ways of working.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>We are working on a hybrid model with the flexibility of working 50% split between our Parramatta office and working from home.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The variety of your role will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Partnering with and supporting stakeholders by providing professional ER/IR advice on a range of matters, including&nbsp; discrimination, harassment, bullying, accessing leave, complaint management, policy interpretation and legislative entitlements</li><li>Addressing enquiries from, and working collaboratively with unions and employee representatives on Industrial Relations matters to minimise industrial disputes</li><li>Reviewing, developing and assisting in the implementation of existing and new P&amp;C policies, practices and programs to meet organisational needs</li><li>Assisting with the Enterprise Agreement making process, including the preparation of related documentation and resources</li><li>Assisting the Employment Relations Manager in monitoring the Industrial Relations framework and supporting the change management process</li><li>Collaborating and working in partnership with internal P&amp;C teams on the development and implementation of P&amp;C projects and initiatives</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will bring&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate alignment to our purpose and values, together with:</p><ul><li>Degree qualified in HR or similar would be preferred</li><li>Proven experience in a similar role, working within a complex organisation, exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Strong planning, organising and multitasking skills</li><li>Proven experience working with various HRIS platforms, preferably Success Factors</li><li>Ideally some experience in Google Docs, Gmail, ServiceNow and SharePoint systems</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li><li>An understanding of the Catholic Education System is preferred but not essential<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>The Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive remuneration&nbsp;</li><li>25% off school fees for your children enrolled in our schools</li><li>Salary Packaging</li><li>Hybrid/Flexible working environment (50% office, 50% remote)</li><li>Wellbeing Programs</li><li>Supportive Culture<br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>At Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) we are committed to responding to the needs of our students in a world that is changing rapidly.
