THE ROLE
The Head of Technical and Applied Studies (TAS) fulfils a key role within the Senior School and is responsible for, under the direction of the Dean of Studies and Head of Senior School, the educational leadership within the TAS Department and wider College community. This leadership encompasses curriculum, pedagogy and professional growth and development of staff. The Head of TAS is responsible for leading and transforming a team of talented educators to enable best practice learning and engagement for students in Years 7-12.
A love of teaching and learning, initiative, an optimistic outlook, great organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional learning are all pre-requisites for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A recognised teaching qualification with a specialisation in a TAS related field.
- Post-graduate qualifications in educational leadership would be advantageous.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
- Current First Aid certificate is desirable.

REMUNERATION
Terms and Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the relevant Enterprise Agreement. Remuneration will be determined by the Principal according to qualifications and experience.
