<p><b>The school is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Grade 5/6 classroom teacher to join our learning community in a part time (0.6) classroom teaching position. The days of work will be Wed - Fri.</b></p><p><b>The position will commence on 1st May 2024 and will conclude on 28th January 2025 (Mat Leave position).</b></p><p><b>Our school promotes the safety, wellbeing, inclusion and protection of all children in our care.</b></p><p><b>It is expected that the successful applicant will: </b></p><p>• support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the Religious Education program </p><p>• embrace partnerships with students, colleagues and the parent community </p><p>• be highly motivated, organised and a dedicated member of the SFX staff </p><p>• undertake a wholistic approach to student wellbeing </p><p>• provide effective differentiated teaching across all areas of the curriculum </p><p>• be confident in the use of ICT </p><p>• demonstrate a competence in using an inquiry based approach to learning </p><p>• engage students in contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum </p><p>• demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively</p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>The successful applicant will:</p><p>• preferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School, or a willingness to seek accreditation in the future</p><p>• have current VIT registration </p><p>• complete the attached Application for Employment Form, including the pre-employment disclosure questions </p><p>• have an understanding of, and a commitment to, a safe environment for children. </p><p><br /></p>
