The College is seeking a strong and passionate Head of Strings to lead the Strings Program and ensembles across Years 3-12.

Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1200 students.</i></p><p><i> </i></p><div><i>The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit primary and secondary schools and universities.</i></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>About the Role</b></div><div><b><br /></b></div><div><b> </b></div><div><b>Head of Strings</b></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>St Aloysius&#39; College is seeking to appoint a vibrant and inspiring Head of Strings to lead and coordinate the Strings Program and ensembles across Years 3-12, working collaboratively with other Music educators in the pursuit of excellence in the College’s Music Program.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>This role is responsible for and instrumental in the development, implementation, teaching and evaluation of a sequential Strings Program to achieve specific outcomes for students within their classes, individually and in ensembles. Beyond the classroom, the successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to promote the continued growth of the Strings Program, as well as participate and assist in all musical co-curricular activities throughout the College calendar.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>Reporting to the Director of Music, the successful candidate will possess effective leadership and coordination skills in managing a large Strings Program, with the ability to create a positive, supportive and an engaging ensemble environment that meets the creative, social and emotional needs of all students.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>Joining a high performing team of educators and musicians, you will support and lead the future of music education, ensuring the seamless delivery of quality music programs for students.
